Island of the God

Bali Island

With its iconic beaches, pounding surf, picturesque rice terraces and enclaves of artisans, this small volcanic island charms everyone who sets foot on its shores. As the only Hindu society in Southeast Asia, Bali has more than its share of ornate temples and colourful festivals. These are all framed by stunning landscapes, including spectacular mountains and waterfalls.

From dolphin watching on the north coast to the organic café scene and art galleries of Ubud, located in the island’s centre, Bali has it all. You can hike a volcano, indulge in 5-star spa treatments, raft through deep gorges, ride some world-class waves, dive WW2 shipwrecks and underwater temples or fall in love with the culture and beautiful smiles. Bali consistently attracts travel awards for its world-class lavish hotels and spas.

Explore Bali With Us

Should your interest be to experience Bali ‘how it used to be’, it is probably best to opt for the sleepy beach village of Sanur. If you prefer the foothills over the beach, a splendid alternative is the traditional village of Ubud in the Gianyar Regency, since long the artistic and cultural centre of Bali. In a way Ubud and its surroundings may also be considered as a destination all by itself.

In case you have the luxury of being able to stay a longer time and prefer perfect peace and quiet over hustle and bustle you may even wish to go to Candi Dasa on the east coast or to Lovina or Pemuteran in the north.
