Nikoi Private Island

The architecture of Nikoi reflects both traditional Indonesian craftsmanship and contemporary design, whilst using driftwood and 'alang alang' roofing to blend into the environment. The beach houses utilise a unique double layered roof design to promote natural ventilation. Ocean breezes and the unique cooling effect of the landmass provide an example of ‘nature’s air-con’.
