Paddle Boarding
A great way to experience the immense beauty of Raja Ampat’s ecosystems is via Standup Paddle Boarding. You can either opt to rent the SUPs from us to take off on your excursion or cruise off to a nearby area via one of our speed boats for a guided tour that promises to showcase Raja Ampat’s beauty above and below your paddleboard.

Birds Of Paradise Hike
Raja Ampat has long been famous for its Birds of Paradise, ever since the ancient trade in their feathers in the 18th Century. Well over 250 species have been connected to the archipelago including the well-known Greater Bird-of-Paradise. Don’t be surprised if you see some of these species during just a short excursion – but others will require an extended jungle trek. The tour either starts in the early morning or late afternoon. Don’t forget to bring mosquito spray, binoculars, hiking shoes and be sure to wear dark clothing.
Blue River Excursion
Due to deep water and narrow channels flushing out the turbid water from the mangroves, areas like The Blue River – “Kali Biru” offer lighting that will genuinely leave you enchanted. Be greeted by a pool of blue water that is refreshingly cold to the touch, peacefully sleeping under a jungle canopy.
We usually prefer to go in the mornings when it is not too busy. Be sure to bring some cash if you want to buy anything from a local store in the village, as well as hiking shoes, mosquito spray and a swim towel.
Waisai Market Visit
This local market offers a sensory experience filled with stalls of fresh seasonal vegetables, fruit and delicacies. Try some Purple Dragon Fruit or give your body a Vitamin C boost with some fresh Matoa Fruit. Street vendors sell freshly prepared local meals and snacks.

We’ll jump right into it and get you fitted for your snorkeling gear, followed by a thorough briefing to ensure everyone feels comfortable and knows what to expect. Settling into one of our custom-build high-speed dive boats will ensure you are relaxed while on your way to the two different snorkelling spots.
The variety of sites ensure there is something for everyone. Your snorkel guide will brief you on safety as well as the best techniques to improve your chances of spotting the lush marine life that includes Black Mantas, Turtles, Christmas Worms, Feathered Starfish, Black and White Reef Sharks as well as schools of Sweet Lips, Angel Fish, Trumpet Fish, Bat Fish, Fusiliers, Soldier Fish, Pipe Fish and Bumphead Parrot Fish.
Between snorkelling sessions, you will enjoy local coffee, tea and fruit to experience all Raja Ampat’s offerings.
North Lagoon: Water Cottages
The Water Cottages are built on stilts over the water. For lazy afternoons with a good book, there is a hammock built right into the veranda. The view from your veranda is framed by a traditional grass roof, offering a high degree of privacy as well as shade. Stairs lead down from your veranda to the North Lagoon, and the House Reef is just a few fin kicks away. It's easy to imagine you are the only person on Earth in these independent cottages: the perfect place to soak up the island’s tranquillity.
North Lagoon: Villa Utara
Villa Utara overlooks the House Reef and the spectacular dive sites of Fiabacet beyond. Steps down into the sea give easy access to the House Reef. This Villa features two en-suite bedrooms, a shared common area with a half bath, a loft, and a massive veranda. We especially recommend this Villa for families with older children and groups of 4 friends. Private dinners can be arranged on your veranda.
North Lagoon: Villas Nasnoos And Wakachom
These two separate villas are built on stilts over the House Reef. They feature a hammock built into the verandas. This is the ideal spot for early evening shark-gazing while the sun goes down. Villas Nasnoos and Wakachom each feature a master bedroom and an indoor living area with sofa. The sofa can be converted into another twin or double bed, and there is a partition to add privacy to the master bedroom. These Villas also have lounge seating sunken into the veranda as well as steps down into the sea. Perfect for 2-3 guests, or they make a great option for two small groups who wish to be housed in the same area while maintaining space and independence.
EXPLORE AN INHABITED ISLAND WITH SUN & SHADE
Raja Ampat is not your typical beach holiday destination and is rather famous for its gigantic jungle tops and mangrove forests that hold the coastline together. Indonesia does not only have the most abundant biodiversity of marine species, but it’s also known for having over an estimate of 23 percent of the world’s mangroves along its coastlines – which is about 3 million hectares of mangrove forest!
With the resort nestled behind one of these mangrove forests, we also have access to some of the best beaches in our area and can take you there with one of our speed boats. We also have a ‘boat taxi’ daily to Palau Saonek Mondei – which is an uninhabited island with sun, shade, and crystal-clear water, perfect for a day of swimming and snorkelling.
