This unique cultural tour introduces you to experience Balinese culture. Meet with “The Balian” Or Shaman or Astrology, or you may call Fortune Teller, a famous spiritual practice in Bali. Balinese will visit The Balian if they are stricken with misfortunes, illness, failure in marriage, career, business, or other life aspects. The Balian is the person who can give spiritual advice on what needs to be done. It usually involves a ritual ceremony being conducted.

We arrange a meeting in advance to avoid queueing with local villagers. To avoid a long drive, we recommend this tour for those who stay in Ubud hotels. We provided a traditional Balinese sarong and a Scarf for the ritual, and you need to wear a shirt or polo shirt on top.

Meet your driver at 08:30 for 30 minutes drive to visit Ida Bagus Alit Kencana Putra. He is one of the famous Balinese Astrology who can heal any spiritual illness or fortune teller based on the Balinese Zodiac. As you arrive, you will be met by his assistant, who is a translator. He will then assist you with traditional simple clothing, such as kanban (sarong) and a button-up shirt with Udeng (head wrap) and kebaya for women. You will be seated in a pavilion whilst told to write down your birth date. He will take a look at it, and he will most likely already know what kind of question you are going to give him. Topic varies from future, career, relationship, etc. He will predict the important things that are going to happen, and you will experience them later in life, but yet again, he will say it’s all up to god. The question and answer will last approx. 20 minutes. If you are keen, after the session with him, you are offered to have a small Hindu ritual of cleansing the mind and the soul in a spiritual with a purification or blessing ceremony at the family temple.
